A custom hand-lettered affirmation to encourage others to seize the day.

Working with Andy Cantu and the team at August United, I was asked to create a unique hand-lettered piece for the Snuggle® “Seize the Day” social media campaign. The affirmation quote would be synonymous with the caring and encouraging voice of the Snuggle® brand.

Considerations: Illustrations should convey comfort and love while incorporating brand colors to ensure a cohesive feed.

The brand’s signature blue hues and bright yellow were paired with a textured brush to give the illustration a more organic feel. Edges were rounded and elements masked to create a soft gradient effect. Animation was later added by the client for a fun, eye-catching feel.
